Kit Rowley - Special Projects Manager

Since June 2003 Kit has been responsible for Special Projects including overseeing Information & Communication Services (ICS), Project Coordinator for the 280 acre Wagon Wheel Business Park in Balzac and as a key part of our Consulting Group.

For 37 years Kit has been involved in industrial/commercial real estate from contracting, real estate brokerage to real estate development along with consultation management in various roles.

Kit has been instrumental in driving the activities of the Wagon Wheel Business Park in Balzac. Kit lives in Balzac, drove the Amendment to the Balzac East Area Structure Plan, and lead the creation and approval of the Wagon Wheel Business Park Concept Scheme (480 acres).  On an ongoing basis Kit is very active in his local community and attends most MD of Rocky View Council meetings, is the Project Coordinator for Land Development of the 280 acres, and is president of the Balzac Businessman’s Association.   

For the past two years Kit has worked to provide Consulting Services to major corporations such as Shell Canada with regards to 480 acres of future industrial development land that they also own east of Balzac.

Luke Stiles - Associate

Luke began his career in real estate with Avenue Commercial as an Assistant working closely with the Partners of the company.  During that time he actively participated in sales and leasing projects for suburban office, retail, industrial and investment properties.  Luke became a Licensed Sales Assistant in October of 2003 and continued to work closely with all of the Partners at Avenue Commercial, giving him insight to a wide range of clients and transactions.  As an Associate, Luke focuses on industrial while specializing in facilities in the 5,000 to 30,000 square foot range.  Luke draws on his previous marketing experience, technical expertise and methods, and his knowledge of the Calgary market place to provide quality solutions to those groups requiring value added real estate representation.

Patrick White - Associate

Patrick White joined Avenue Commercial in November 2006 as part of the Special Projects team. His first assignment is to handle the newly acquired Saskatchewan portfolio (Avenue 10 L.P.). Patrick will be assisting in the transition of new properties into their designated limited partnerships with full service property management. All limited partners in Avenue 10 can contact Patrick at any time concerning the progress of their investment. Patrick has been managing portfolios in excess of 300,000 sq ft for over 5 years, handling the full range of accounting and reporting requirements as well as tenant/vendor relations. Brett Isaacs, Ph.D. - Director of Market Research, Associate

Prior to joining Avenue Commercial in September of 2006, Brett taught International Finance, Money and Banking, Industrial Organization and Microeconomic Theory at Simon Fraser University. His primary research focused on the market penetration and expansion strategies of quick-service restaurant chains and the like. Brett performs market research for the company as well as commercial property sales/leasing and business brokerage.

Scott Mills, P. Eng. - Development Officer, Special Projects

Scott began working in conjunction with Avenue Commercial, Green Planet Development and their affiliates in March, 2006. He is a licensed professional engineer, registered in Alberta and Ontario. He manages or assists with various aspects of our land development and building construction projects, as well as property maintenance and acquisitions.

After seven years with an International building material manufacturer, Scott provides a unique perspective on the construction industry. His extensive building material supply chain network contacts and his knowledge of underground municipal infrastructure are most valuable tools when developing land. In addition, Scott's experience working for Building Envelope and Environmental Engineering Consulting firms in Toronto provide Avenue Commercial with an engineering edge when assessing properties.

Victoria joined Avenue Commercial in December 2005 to add to the growing accounting department demanded by the growing needs of Avenue's business and business partners. Victoria has a Masters of Science in Economics and Management, and is currently working towards her C.G.A. level four. Victoria has worked in diverse fields such as the Medical, Educational, and Service industries as well as in public practice before joining Avenue Commercial.

Dawn joined Avenue Commercial in October 2005 to work on the marketing objectives of the company as well Human Resources.  Dawn has a degree in Communications, and has worked in marketing in diverse fields from fashion design to software development. Tania Durette - Property Manager

Tania joined Avenue in late May, 2006 as the company's receptionist and front-office administrator. In April 2008 Tania moved to the property management division to assist Peter Lychlama and Patrick White with portfolios in Saskatchewan and Alberta.   Tania has almost 10 years of customer service experience, as well as over 5 years of experience with all aspects of the printing industry.  Tania has studied Computer Information Systems and is continuing her education to offer the best possible service to Avenue Commercial, it’s clients, customers, and investors.

  robin     Robin Murray – Operations Supervisor

Robin joined Avenue Commercial in 2005 and quickly became an integral part of Avenue Commercial’s Property Management Division.

Robin oversees all of the on-site property management including HVAC, general repairs, pneumatic and electrical control trouble shooting and repair, plumbing repair, pump and valve repairs, water treatment maintenance, and all day-to-day preventative maintenance. 

Robin is highly educated in his field and is certified in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Building Operations A&B, 4th Class Steam Engineering and Power Engineering.

Before joining Avenue Commercial Robin worked in Operations for other Property Management companies, and as a Technical Consultant for a Water Management operation.  His previous experiences give Robin the tools to strive to elevate each building he works on to that of an ‘A’ standard building.

Kristy Quinto - Data Entry & Database Maintenance Clerk

Kristy joined Avenue Commercial part-time in March 2007 and moved to full-time in June 2007. Kristy is responsible for maintaining and upgrading our databases, and as well as compiling detailed research to assist the sales department. Before working for Avenue Commercial Kristy worked in the pharmaceutical industry, and she has over 4 years administrative experience. Austen Tanner - Building Operator Assistant

Having served as Tour Manager with Wycliffe Dinner Theatre in Portland, OR, Austen is a good fit for Avenue Commercial as he brings over four years of maintenance experience in everything from stage equipment to vehicles and trailers.  As Operations Assistant he hopes to lessen the work load of his boss and serve Avenue’s cliental with speed and efficiency.
