| Business Broker |
| As part of an active and energetic sales team, the successful candidate will join a busy downtown Commercial Real Estate office specifically working on assisting clients in the buying and selling of businesses. |
| Key Responsibilities: |
|
 |
Source new clients for both the purchasing and selling sides of a business brokerage transaction. |
 |
Work with existing clients to provide top-quality, timely service |
 |
Assess existing businesses with regard to qualifying businesses and pricing and timing. |
 |
Analyze financial records, work alongside marketing team to create marketing materials, implement and manage a
system for confidentiality of records, advertising and promotion, coordinate due diligence activities. |
 |
Interview and qualify selected potential buyers, assist entrepreneurs who are considering buying a business to help the buyer know if the asking price is fair market value. |
 |
Manage the Letter of Intent/Offer to Purchase process as well as the closing and disbursal of the sale proceeds. |
 |
Work along side other sales members, business brokerage members along with lawyers, accountants, creditors, advisors, and lenders throughout the entire acquisition process. |
 |
Attend regular sales meetings to advise entire sales department of new opportunities arising. |
 |

| Criteria: |
 |
Proven sales record. |
 |
Alberta Real Estate Sales License, Membership in the Canadian Real Estate Association |
 |
6+ years experience in Commercial Real Estate with a preference for those with extensive experience in Business Brokerage or Business Management. |

Excellent computer skills, Excellent communication skills |
 |
Bachelor of Commerce, Management or Business degree strongly preferred. |
 |
Flexible and able to manage working with diverse and often demanding personalities in a fast-paced environment |
 |
Successful candidate must have a reliable vehicle and clean driver’s license |
 |
