Accounting Bookkeeper
Key Responsibilities:
Work within an accounting team for a busy downtown commercial real estate office.
Maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
Prepare reports.
Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, calculate, prepare and distribute cheques.
Criteria:
Full-time permanent position.
Significant accounting experience required.
Full cycle accounting experience required.
Must have experience with Simply Accounting, Spreadsheet Software, Electronic Mail, Database software and Windows OS.
Previous real estate or similar office experience highly preferred.
Salary:

Commercial Real Estate Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
Organizing schedule for an extremely busy Partner of a rapidly growing Commercial Real Estate office.
Correspondence, phone calls, meeting minutes, composing and fact-checking sensitive documents.
Assist with sales meetings, client administration, customer and investor relations
Assisting with other office administration as needed.
Travel planning, bank runs, document pick up and delivery to VIP recipients
Managing spreadsheets and databases
Prioritize tasks in a time efficient manner, liaison between partner and office staff as needed
Monitor email, telephone, and other messages and relay information in order of priority
Other tasks as required
Criteria:
Bachelor of Commerce, Management or Business degree strongly preferred.
Demonstrated intermediate to advanced knowledge and experienced using the MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Powerpoint. Additional software knowledge (accounting, project management, contact management) considered an asset.
Experience in a real estate office, legal office, or financial institution considered an asset but not required.
Experience in senior office administration or personal/executive assistance considered an asset but not required.
Ideal candidate has some legal, finance or accounting training, experience or education.
Exceptionally strong English skills
Demonstrated ability to work well with the public. Previous experience with sales preferred.
Diligent, Efficient, and Prompt
Detail oriented, tidy, exceptionally organized, and able to organize others
Flexible and able to manage working with diverse and often demanding personalities in a fast-paced environment
Successful candidate must have a reliable vehicle and clean driver’s license
